Day six in Hong Kong

Yesterday in Hong Kong we went to the art museum. For me it wasn't that interesting,  but my parents liked it. It had lots of old ancient paintings, sculptures and other things. They didn't have abstract so that's why I didn't like it that much.

And after that we went to my mom's concert and then she had a 2 hour masterclass. They were great. My mom did a great job.

Day five in Hong Kong

Yesterday my dad and I went to the science museum(it was open). It was really cool. The museum's sections include transportation, magnets, electricity, food science and other things. In the children's section, you could look at how you use a grain elevator. And you could make huge bubbles that you could almost put on like clothes.

And I also made cloud rings and the way I did that was they had a smoke machine with a spring loaded disc with a hole in the middle for the cloud to come out.

Day four in Hong Kong

Yesterday my dad and I stayed home and I did my homework and practiced my violin. Then we went to the science museum, but it was closed so we walked to the harbor and watched men fish. It was very beutiful. Then we went back to the hotel and changed our clothes because my mom would be performing a concert a 8:00pm.
We went to the concert and it was great. My mom played really well! I was really tired and I fell asleep.

Day three in Hong Kong

Yesterday my dad and I went the Museum of Hong Kong History! It was really cool. It started with the geology and volcanic explosions 400,000,000 years ago! Then we went to the prehistoric section of the museum. It had bones and animal teeth. And sculptures of people fishing and pushing boats. The next section was nature which was my favorite part. It had stuffed animals such as tigers, birds, wild boars, bears and snakes(they weren't toys). Then it was life in Hong Kong now. It showed how Chinese people celebrated holidays.

We went to a radio studio performance that my mom did and after that for dinner we went to a traditional Hong Kong restaurant which had seafood. You would boil some hot water and cook for instance shrimp on a stick. Which would still have the eyes, legs and that kind of stuff.  I tried it and it was ok, but I got chicken.
The lady is my mom's friend. The man works there.

Day Two In Hong Kong

We have an excellent view from our window. We can see a school from our window. Once in a while we see kids in their uniforms going from class to class or out having p.e. The best part is that we see little mountains and big buildings. And in the evening we went to a master class that my mom taught in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. (CUHK) In the room it had Chinese instruments. And they were very cool.

This is the plane we flew in.

The Day We Flew to Hong Kong

When we flew to Hong Kong, we used the company called Cathay Pacific. It is a Chinese airline. It had a screen that showed movies, played music, gave games to play, and played kid and adult TV shows. At lunch, they have us rigatoni, with cheese and dried tomatoes. After lunch, they gave us little cups of vanilla ice cream.

The flight was 15 hours long and I slept about seven hours of the way and the rest I mostly watched movies. After we got off the plane and got our luggage, we waited for the shuttle to take us to the hotel. We are staying at a Royal Plaza Hotel and it is very pretty.
